Food Review at al-Amar Express

I've had such a mad week. Let's see.. I've been MIA because I've been so caught up with moving to my new place! Boxes everywhere, dust, mess. Well, I shall write about that later.

After being so crazy moving boxes, thanks to Malaysia's Hottest Bloggers, I got to dress up, put on some make up and look nice for a night out. We went for delicious Lebanese food at Al-Amar Express, at Farenheit 88.

I was in college the whole day before that, feeling like a zombie and just dragging myself to last throughout the day of classes. But when it came to the evening, I was up and running like a finely tuned machine. *cue for my lecturers to roll eyes*

Together with fellow MHB girls Chelsea and Samantha.

The glass walls and modern decor caught my eye when I walked into this restaurant. This restaurant has both indoor and al-fresco dining areas. Guests can eat and also enjoy hip chill-out lounge music. They also can people watch as shoppers stroll by as it is located right in front of Fahrenheit 88. Very relaxing, just nice after a long day of work.

Let's get down to business with the food, shall we?

Al-Amar is usually famous for its Schawarma sandwiches, whether you like beef or chicken, or both.
A Shawarma sandwich is like a wrap, with beef/chicken, tarator sauce and condiments. This thing is probably the most delicious thing I've tasted in this restaurant! A must-try.

These are the lovely Manakeesh, they look like mini pizzas right? Think pizza dough, cheese with spices and a bit of chilli. :)

Mouth-watering Baguette Sandwiches. Roasted with cheese, chicken, tomatoes, pickles and garlic sauce, these bad boys are one of the best inventions ever! I never had Lebanese food before and I was really not expecting any cheese action going on.. but they were delicious.

And who could *ever* forget dessert?

This is Tiramisu, an Italian dessert. It's so addictive!

Cheese cake

Sinful mini Chocolate cakes.
The prices of the food here are pretty reasonable, they start from RM8-RM25 per dish.

They also have quite good Shisha here, their flavors range from Apple to Rose flavor.

Malaysia's Hottest Bloggers + the owner and the manager of this lovely place.

I would definitely come back to this place again on a Friday night or something. After working hard the whole week, perhaps rewinding here is a good idea as they have a Happy Hour promotion for all, especially for workaholics! You can buy 2 chilled bottles of beers and get another for free from 4pm - 8pm everyday. Same goes for their cocktails! Buy 2 and get 1 FREE!

Ps. Al-Amar is open until 5am every Friday and Saturday nights. ;)

Trying to look badass posing with the Shisha here, only because I'm bad at it. Haha!

So, now you have a place to go to on your Friday nights, people! :)
