Calvin Harris @ Vertigo, Mid Valley

Hello! It's been awhile. It's almost a week since the Calvin Harris came to KL and spun for the crazy crowds at Vertigo last Wednesday night (15th Feb). What a nice way to spend the day after Valentine's! And how else would I spend it without my best buddy and fellow Calvin Harris fan, Sabrina. :) who also brought some friends and her cousins.

Wore a jumpsuit into a club for the first time. At first, I wasn't used to it but a few hours later judging by the humongous crowd that filled Vertigo to the brim, I was quite thankful I wore something comfy too. Bumped into Daniel L & the guys, Andy Kho too!

Other than Calvin Harris, there were a couple of other DJs who spun as well. When Calvin Harris went onto the deck, everyone went wild. People whipping out their phones to take pictures and videos of him.

Calvin played a couple of his well-known songs like Flashback, You Used to Hold Me and Bounce. Bounce is my current favourite! Grinned like an idiot bobbing my head nonstop.

Here's a little video of Bounce. Just spreading the love. :)

Just look at the amount of hands.

The man himself. :)

It was insane. Music was awesome despite having very little space to dance, aching feet and sweating! Saw some familiar faces there as well. What a night! I was pretty sure I injured my feet but it was so worth it.

Ps. I've waited 2 years to see him live! There was once when he came to perform at Zouk, 2 years ago, when I started becoming a fan.. and was so devastated that I couldn't go. Thus, I'm so blessed for this chance of a lifetime.

Bracing for February

So January has just passed like that *snaps*.
Now it's gonna be February. The romantic month of the year? Yeah, I'm sure alot of people are looking forward/ bracing themselves for Valentine's day.

Talk about the romantic month of February, my cousin's wedding is in 2 more days! That I'm super excited for. Congrats to my Yee Ko and Marie. I'm gonna be commentator for the wedding mass at church and then violinist for the wedding dinner. My favourite cousins will be back. I can hardly wait. :) Everyone is so hectic this week! Prepping themselves. Hair! Nails! Dress! Shoes! Rehearsals! Cuhh-ray-zay.

My whole weekend is gonna be blocked up. Next, it's the D V day. Any plans anyone? I see alot of people making it "Singletine's" day. Seriously, people? "It's not even a friggin word!" quotes Kim. Anyway, Sab & I are supposed to have a dinner that night. Yeah, just the 2 of us. We can be anywhere in the world and still laugh and survive when we are together. Apparently, my gym has Valentine's Day class as well? Sounds interesting.

The next thing I'm really looking forward to is FUTURE SOUND ASIA PRESENTS CALVIN HARRIS!

He'll be performing at Vertigo Club on the 15th of Feb! I've always loved Calvin Harris. I remember 2 years ago when he came to Malaysia to perform in Zouk I was so disappointed because I was beyond underage to go. So this is my chance!

Till then, may everyone have a happy Valentine's day regardless if you are a singleton or contented with a loving boyfriend/girlfriend.

7aste Moscow @ Laundry Bar, The Curve

Attended 7aste MOSCOW at Laundry Bar, at The Curve yesterday.

Mr.B, my date for the night.

Took a picture with a model. Man, she so tall. :'( And I'm wearing heels!

Care for a pack Mild7 in an ice case?

There was also an Ice Bar. Real ice! And some Kamikaze shots. Too bad I just recovered from a nasty cold, so I didn't drink that much..

The party was hosted by Fay Hokulani. I just adore her white dress!

Zlwin, Zouk's house magician performed cool tricks for us. He pulled out 2 cards from my hair!

Zlwin doing his thing..

Although it was a small venue, it was good to see everyone there and the music was pretty good. :) Good for a first 7aste event.
Ended at 12am, but had to leave early to teach this morning.

It's mum's birthday tomorrow and my aunt's the day after, and we just realized that mum & aunt got each other the SAME cards from Memory Lane. What are the chances of that happening? #greatmindsthinkalike

I hope she likes the s_______r I got for her. She doesn't read my blog anyways.
But Happy Birthday in advance, to the best mum in the world!

JOHNNIE WALKER® “STEP INSIDE THE BLACK CIRCUIT - BRAZIL @ KL LIVE

I finally attended the Johnnie Walker Black Circuit Lounge at KL LIVE. It was in the heart of town, hence easy to find.

One of our MHB Jamie was there early & myself!

Look who I brought with me. :) He's mostly interested in F1 in this event. Boys and cars.

Mr.B reunited with a friend he met in college, so he wasn't too bored that night. Glad he had lots of fun too.

We tried the different types of Johnnie Walker and had a taste of the Double Black, which was really cool.

Yay! Serge was there too. Right after the MIFA Fashion show.

My make up artist, Vicky, who performed a dance with her troop as well.

Raj Aria

Reunited with the MHB Girls!

Helen

After walking around for hours, I was so glad to see familiar faces of the MHB girls and Tim as well!

Speaking of familiar faces, Bear came as well for the event! I was thrilled to see him after so long.

Dennis Lau

Mr.B with Miss Universe Malaysia Finalists

Fay Hokulani

Josiah, who was Johnnie Walker that night.

Some Brazilian performances for the night

Deborah Henry and Dominic Lau hosting the event.

The party really begun when DJ Von Kiss started spinning.

DJ Clinton Sparks.

It was such a crazy day for me, bet even crazier for others. But I got back home in one piece, because you never drink irresponsibly. It was my first Johnnie Walker event, and thanks to Malaysia's Hottest Bloggers & Johnnie Walker, I had the chance to attend and party the night away.
